In Dance for Camera führte Jermaine Browne Teilnehmende durch die Herausforderung, Tanz für Film zu komponieren. Gemeinsam entwickelten sie kurze Choreografien, passten diese an ihren Stil an, bauten kreative Sets und produzierten selbst filmbare Mini-Performances. Diese wurden innerhalb der Gruppe besprochen, reflektiert und verfeinert – ein Raum zum visuellen Gestalten.
Meine Kamera war dort, als visuelle Schwester zur Filmkameraarbeit der Tänzer:innen. Ich fing die schönsten Szenen ein: Bewegungen, Formationen, Energie, die im Blick vibrierten.

In Dance for Camera, Jermaine Browne guided participants through the art of choreographing for film. Together they created short movement pieces, personalized them, explored creative locations around the festival area, and filmed their performances. These clips were shared, reflected on, and refined within the group – a space of visual exploration and expression.
I was there with my camera – capturing the strongest moments, dynamic compositions, and vibrant expressions. These images are more than snapshots – they are timeless reflections of presence, artistry, and collaboration.
